What We Do
Go MAD Technology is the newest part of Go MAD Group, having officially formed in October 2011, but as a team we are older than that.
Go MAD Technology was formed from bringing together the technology team within Go MAD Thinking and their sister company Doxmart. The combination of these two businesses brought together a range of skills in producing technology solutions around helping people think differently and to share their thinking to help each other in their chosen community.
We have the same passion as our colleagues in Go MAD Thinking, but use a radically different approach in our pursuit of ‘opening minds to make a difference’. Our team is developing world-class technology solutions that support and extend the reach of Go MAD, as well as making our tools and techniques accessible to as many different user groups as possible.
Our solutions cover three broad areas…
Thinking
We are creating online thinking tools based around the core material developed by Andy Gilbert and the Go MAD Thinking team over the last 15 years.
The first product, iCheev, acts as an online coach for users; allowing them to create clarity around goals, think through problems to create solutions, and think creatively to open up opportunities. The first version of the iCheev system is designed for corporate customers, allowing users to share and feedback goals.
Over the next 12 months we will be adding a range of features, allowing our corporate customers to manage and think through complex projects and business goals. The system will create a golden thread, allowing individuals to understand where their goals and actions fit into the corporate objectives.
We will also be producing mobile phone apps as well as a version of the toolset available to individual users. We have other exciting plans for additional products in the thinking space, which will be launched over the coming months.
Communities
Under the ‘Think it, Do it, Share it™’ brand, we have developed community sites that bring together interested parties to Make A Difference. These sites range from making differences in specific geographic areas, helping individuals to think differently about the challenges in their lives and communities, through to sites designed to tackle specific issues.
The sites are all based on the original concepts of the Doxmart website (doxmart.com), which introduced the idea of all users being able to share the material that they create to support the work of others. Go MAD Technology has developed the concept to create our Community Content Xchange (CCX) platform, which underpins the communities we create, along with links through to iCheev to give users the tools to achieve their goals and tackle issues along the way.
Custom
At Go MAD Technology, we don’t keep all of these skills to ourselves.
We have a range of capabilities that we share with clients, ranging from custom development (we have skills in asp.net/MVC, PHP, MS SQL, My SQL, web development and web design) to digital marketing (we create web sites, e-marketing campaigns, social media and Customer Relationship Management).
Customers use Go MAD Technology because we help them think differently about how technology can be used to help them Make A Difference, especially around customer retention and acquisition.
