Binge Thinking
Get out and Make a Difference to your thinking - Ros Palmer
Go MAD Thinking is located in the beautiful countryside of Leicestershire, amidst Charnwood Forest and farmland. We work from a converted farm and much of our 'thinking space' is the amongst the six and half acres of land around us.
We know the benefits to our thinking of being in such an environment. On a personal level, a walk in the country will always clear my head, lift a bad mood and generally make me happy to be alive. So it's with interest that I discovered that a recent study suggests that walking in nature might actually benefit your brain.
The study, published in Psychological Science and conducted by University of Michigan researchers, found that when people spent time in nature, as opposed to an urban environment, their attention and memory improved.
Read it here and make a personal commitment to get out and into nature soon, even if the weather is poor – remember there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing (allegedly).
