1. A fairy story
– opening YOUR mind & helping YOU to think (and magically reconnect you to the Go MAD Principles)

Once upon a time there was a young maiden shut up in a high tower by her wicked stepmother. As each day passed, she would look out and wish for her prince to come. As she had been shut in the tower for a very long time, her hair had grown extremely long. One day a handsome prince from a far off land came riding through and heard about the maiden. As he was looking for a beautiful maiden to marry, he immediately set about a rescue mission with great enthusiasm...More...

2. Pulling the wagon
– opening OTHERS' minds & helping OTHERS to think (a short video to make you feel good)

During the last few months we have been finding new ways to make a difference by experimenting with new forms of AV content and IT tools. We want to engage your hearts as well as your minds.

For now, we want to share with you a powerful video which was sent to us. It demonstrates simply how we can help others, often without them realising it. So grab a cup of tea and take a minute to watch the following.

3. Is it me or is most training cr*p?!!
So how can we open minds and help your TEAMS to think?

One of the defining quotes about advertising, which is widely attributed to John Wannamaker in the late 19th Century, goes: "I know that half of my advertising budget is wasted...I just don't know which half". The sad reality is that time and time again this is true of training and development too. At many companies, training programmes simply don't work. They are ineffective, ill received and under attended. Without transparent short and long-term results it is difficult to justify the expense or determine how the work makes a desirable difference to corporate culture or individual behaviours. Which is really cr*p isn't it? The answer is YES, but help is on hand. Read the first chapter of Thinking Engineer Jules Agombar's easy to use booklet and find out that preparation is everything...More...

4. Coping with change – The 'secret' to guiding your ORGANISATION through challenging times

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Don't want to be a richer man
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(Turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Just gonna have to be a different man
Time may change me
But I can't trace time

So sang David Bowie and let's face it, it's worth any excuse to mention such a great artist. But seriously, whilst change can be revitalising for an organisation, it can, in practice, be a daunting task. Often it is nothing short of needing to turn a dysfunctional organisation into a business that meets and sustains its full potential. One that doesn't implode whilst the changes are underway.

The task of handling this effectively will fall on management and leaders who may already be stretched or overwhelmed by the challenge of the changes facing them. It is their job to balance the needs of the business with the emotional impact that change will have on their team at a personal level.

So what are the secrets to an effective programme? We have some easy to follow tips for you. More...
