THINKING > ACTIONS > RESULTS
Congratulations to our client Andrea Livingston from The Co-operative Pharmacy
The Welsh Pharmacy Awards 2012 named Andrea, Training and Development Manager as winner in the Education and Self-Development for the Future of Pharmacy category.
The judges praised the Go M.A.D.® programme delivered in The Co-operative Pharmacy throughout 2011 to support improvements in management capability across the business. On winning the award Andrea said:
“We had been working with managers to have really clear goals in 2011 and we were looking for a way to help them deliver the results required. We needed our Branch Managers to think differently so they would change behaviours in order to achieve better results. I have been using the Go MAD Framework personally for many years and it’s the one thing I always go back to when I’m struggling with a goal or challenge, so I knew it would add value.
We created the ‘Turning Vision into Action’ programme for four levels in the business – Regional Managers, Branch Managers, Central Support senior managers and key contributors. This enabled us to create a common language and toolkit for use throughout the business so that everyone could take personal responsibility for doing their bit to achieve results. â€
A fundamental part of the programme was for everyone to take away an individual business related challenge. We saw some really positive business results reported back at Branch and Regional level following the training. There were also great personal stories about how people had changed their approach to work and leading their teams. Our Employee Engagement scores have increased and we believe the programme is delivering good results for our people and our business.â€
