Go MAD Thinking has been working with QBE since 2005. In 2008, QBE commissioned Go MAD Thinking to design a Management Development solution for front line managers who were managing people for the first time.

To develop their people skills, a five stage modular approach called ‘Management Essentials’ was designed. The Go M.A.D.® Framework became the learning platform with Solution Focused Thinking skills blended with QBE’s Essential Behaviours to deliver an integrated approach.

Measurement shows that 90% of participants benefit from increased confidence in managing people. The programme is now highly regarded and widely recommended internally to the extent that, to date, 175 out of 300 managers have enrolled on Management Essentials. This success has led the Learning and Development Team to recommend Go MAD Thinking solutions to other parts of QBE.

Go MAD Thinking is now a preferred supplier for Management Development.
